Administrative Staff

Jenna Burns is the newest addition to the BHC staff, joining the group in early August, 2006. She is in charge of all insurance billing, preauthorizations, verifications, and provider credentialing. As Intake Coordinator, Jenna obtains information regarding new clients and referrals and assures continuity of care. Jenna also assists in scheduling clients and making sure all of their needs are addressed.

Jenna is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Psychology at Texas A&M University at Texarkana. Upon graduation, she will pursue the designation of Licensed Professional Counselor.

When asked about her position at BHC of Texarkana, Jenna states:

“Being in the medical billing field has given me great insight into the inner workings of running a business. I  have had a previous five years experience in the field of psychology, and to be able to use that knowledge along with the knowledge I am gaining here is a great experience that will help prepare me for my future as a professional counselor. It is also a pleasure to work with such a great group of people who are very dedicated to their jobs and missions in life.”

Jenna has lived in Texarkana since birth and is a 2001 graduate from Arkansas High School. She attended Texarkana College and Texas A&M University—Texarkana and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in May, 2005. She and her husband, Ben, have been married since 2001 and currently reside in Texarkana, Arkansas.
