          Professional Staff

Lesa Warren, LCSW, is Founder and Director for Behavioral Health Center of Texarkana. Lesa supervises clinical staff, administrative staff, and maintains her own caseload of clients.

Lesa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Baylor University in 1992, and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1998. She is a licensed clinical social worker in both Texas and Arkansas.

Lesa performs individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy at the BHC of Texarkana office. Lesa also conducts equine facilitated psychotherapy as an adjunct therapy format. She conducts forensic assessments and evaluations both for the Courts and by request from clients and their attorneys, and serves as adjunct faculty at Texas A&M—Texarkana. When asked about her theoretical orientation and approach, Lesa stated:

“As a therapist I use an eclectic approach, tailoring my interventions and techniques to each individual's unique needs. I believe that all human behavior is purpose driven, and  that even seemingly detrimental behaviors and patterns are simply misguided attempts to self-actualize and psychologically evolve. All therapists at BHC of Texarkana value each client's reality and attempt to serve as life-guides to direct individuals to their specific goals.”

Lesa is a native of Texarkana and graduated from Arkansas High School in 1988. She is married to Todd and has two children.
