As more and more research finds that individuals with emotional disorders often need more than one approach to find symptom relief, interest has focused on “adjunct” therapies that can be used along with more traditional “talk” therapies. One of these adjunct therapies is massage.

Massage therapy has long been utilized for its healing qualities—both for the body and the mind. Clients with anxiety, body image disorders, eating disorders, depression, trauma, and many other disorders can benefit immensely from massage therapy.

BHC of Texarkana therapists refer existing clients for massage therapy when indicated or requested, and individuals can use our massage therapy as a “stand alone” service.

To make an appointment with Melissa Reddin, licensed massage therapist, call the BHC of Texarkana office or discuss the referral with your treating therapist.
